What to Expect on Your First Visit

If you’ve never visited a Chiropractor before, we understand that you may feel nervous prior to your first appointment, or unsure what to expect. But we want to assure you that you have nothing to be worried about! Here is some information to give you a better idea of what to expect when you visit Moose Hall.

YOUR FIRST VISIT

During your first visit to Moose Hall, you will have a private initial consultation & examination with your Chiropractor.

During this session, your Chiropractor will undertake a thorough physical examination, which will include:

  • Chiropractic spinal examination

  • Postural assessment

  • Orthopaedic (joints and muscles) testing

  • Neurological (nerve) testing

You will remain fully clothed during the consultation, so you may wish to wear comfortable clothes that you are able to move easily in.

We will also ask you a series of questions regarding your lifestyle and pain/issues you are experiencing.

Depending on our findings of the examination, we may recommend that you receive further tests, such as X-rays/scans. If this is the case, we can arrange these for you with a relevant practitioner.

YOUR SECOND VISIT

You will be invited back for a second visit, during which you will receive a full explanation of the findings from your Examination. If we believe that you could benefit from Chiropractic care, we will explain the reasons why and provide our best assessment of the length and frequency of treatments.

ONGOING CARE

If you choose to visit us for ongoing care, we will carry out a series of bespoke Chiropractic adjustments during each visit. The adjustments made will be specifically tailored to your needs and goals.

How long you continue to receive treatment for is completely up to you! Many of our patients decide to continue with their adjustments once their pain or symptoms have eased, to ensure that their body continues to function at it’s best.

Throughout your care we will schedule regular complimentary re-assessments to monitor your progress and make sure you are getting the most from your care.
